Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma is a form of regenerative medicine that works by taking a sample of your own blood. The sample is then placed into a centrifuge to separate out the concentrated platelets, which are then injected into the desired area of treatment. PRP can be used for skin rejuvenation and to treat thinning hair.

When used as a treatment for the skin the growth factors released by PRP stimulate elastin and collagen, thickening the epidermis and providing improvement to skin texture and tone.

PRP can also be combined with Morpheus 8 treatment to complement and boost the results, delivering growth factors directly to the deeper layers of the skin further enhancing the regenerative process.

PRP treatment for hair loss works by increasing blood supply and stimulating hair follicles, which in return regenerates and thickens the hair.
