Non Surgical Rhinoplasty 'Nose Job'

Non Surgical Rhinoplasty 'Nose Job'

Non surgical rhinoplasty is a fantastic alternative to a surgical nose job. It is performed using a high-density dermal filler. The procedure is safe, does not require a general anaesthetic with no excessive downtime and immediate results. Nose filler can be used to correct a prominent hump, flattened nasal bridge or tip, hooked nose or if you simply want a reversible nose job before considering a permanent surgical change.

How does a non-surgical rhinoplasty work?

Consultation

The first step involves having a private consultation with a full-face assessment with one of our expert doctors. Our doctor will assess your ideas, concerns and expectations and create a tailored bespoke treatment plan for you. Most of our patients will have treatment(s) on the same day, but you can defer this for another date. Our doctors will proceed with a consent process and explain the risks and complications from this procedure.

Treatment

The treatment involves applying LMX numbing cream which is very effective at minimising any discomfort. The procedure will take approximately 10-15 minutes and is performed using a high-density hyaluronic acid based dermal filler with a fine needle. At Surgicare aesthetics we have performed over 2000 non-surgical rhinoplasty which provides instant results lasting up to 18 months.

Aftercare

After the procedure, your doctor will go through the aftercare which involves no alcohol, exercise, make up or touching the treated areas for the rest of the day. If you wear glasses, we will advise you not to wear them for 3 days. A comprehensive aftercare guide will be emailed to you. Should there be any issues post treatment, you can contact us via phone, email or Whatsapp with all the aftercare led by your doctor.

Why is the side profile so important?

What is profile balance?

Profile balance involves the assessment of your ‘side profile’, in particular your nose, lips and chin. We may choose to treat 1 or more of these aspects to harmonize your profile.

How do I know which treatments I require to balance my profile?

We pride ourselves on our integrity and all our doctors will give honest and unbiased advice. As part of your appointment one of our doctors will carefully assess your facial proportions from the front, 45- and 90-degree angles. Based on our assessment, our doctors will advise suitable treatments for you.
Why is the side profile so important?

Would I benefit from a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

If you have bumps in the nose or a flat nasal bridge then a non-surgical rhinoplasty could be a great treatment for you. The treatment involves using dermal filler to reshape the nose, creating contour, smoothing out bumps, or building up a flat nasal bridge. Traditionally surgery was the only treatment option for those wishing to change the shape of their nose however non-surgical rhinoplasty provides a safe and effective way to treat the nose with less downtime and lower cost. On average we see the treatment lasts 12-18 months.

How can chin filler help balance your profile?

The chin is one of the key components we try to perfect when balancing a profile. For patients with a receding chin (‘class 2’) the chin can make the nose look bigger and the jawline less defined. Those with a class 2 jaw relationship can be great candidates for chin filler. To correct the jaw relationship with the nose, orthognathic surgery was traditionally the only option which can be invasive with extensive downtime. With new advanced technologies using dermal fillers, they can be placed deep periosteally onto the mandible (chin) and project the soft tissues forwards, giving a more class one relationship with minimal downtime.

What if my lower jaw is set forward?

If your lower jaw is set forwards (‘class 3’) then lip filler when strategically placed in the upper lip can help balance the relationship between the upper and lower jaw, giving the appearance of a more balanced profile.

We are unable to reduce the size or any component of your nose directly. However, by correcting your side profile with our profile balance package, we can harmonise your profile and make the appearance of your nose smaller and more in proportion with your face. Our profile balance package involves assessing and possibly treating the nose, lips and chin.
