Lip Fillers

Lip Fillers

Lip fillers can be used to add volume and/or definition to your lips. We will use a smooth thin filler, (Juvederm, Restylane or Stylage), that is suitable for both ladies who may wish to have a natural, subtle enhancement or those looking to achieve the plumpness of Kylie Jenner lips. Additionally, it is also perfect for middle-age females who have lost volume to their lips through the process of ageing and are wishing to regain their youthfulness.

This non-surgical procedure is relatively simple and will take approximately 30 minutes to perform. Our products contain Lidocaine which is a local anaesthetic and we also use Emla cream prior to the treatment to make the procedure pain free as possible. We can also perform corrective work for clients who have had botched treatment carried out elsewhere, through a course of lip dissolving followed by lip re-enhancement.

FAQ’s

The lips are a complex and highly mobile structure, with peaks and troughs, which all doctors at surgicare have an in-depth understanding of the anatomy.  We aim to rejuvenate the lips in such a way that harmonises them with the face as a whole, keeping results as natural as possible.

Your doctor will be the best person to advise you. During your consultation we will examine your lips, and discuss your ultimate goals. We will then advise you on a suitable treatment plan, including volume of filler, choice of product and a maintenance plan.

We use a strong topical anaesthetic cream and our dermal filler products are pre-mixed with local anaesthetic. In addition, the gentle techniques used by our doctors will keep you as comfortable as possible.

Dermal fillers naturally break down according to your metabolic rate. Common things that increase the breakdown of fillers include exposure to the sun, sun beds, smoking and exercise. This is not to say we discourage you to do exercise. All advice is included in your aftercare guide sent after your appointment.
