Cheek Fillers

Cheek Fillers

Through the process of ageing and exercise, people lose fat volume to their mid-face and in turn lose the contoured ‘Kim Kardashian’ look they may wish to achieve.  This is where cheek fillers can help. Unlike with lip fillers, we use a thick hyaluronic acid-based filler (Juvederm or Stylage) to add volume and contour to your cheeks, to give you the sculpted look you have been after. It is often used in combination with filler for the nasolabial lines, to give you the ultimate ‘facelift’.

FAQ’s

We used high density hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers, combined with local anaesthetic to treat the cheek area, anatomically known as the zygomatic bone, which can last up to 18 months.

In patients under 30, cheek filler may be used to beautify natural features and create a contouring effect, like in our beautification package.

In our middle age and elderly patients, we can use cheek filler to augment and help replace lost volume which has occurred through the natural ageing process. It is often the first place to start when considering a structural rejuvenation package. Anterior cheek augmentation complements tear trough treatment as it provides the underlying support to help a ‘sunken under eye’. These 2 treatments form the basis of our periorbital rejuvenation package.

The goal with every treatment is to make you look a better version of yourself and in particular with cheek fillers, help replace lost volume which has occurred through the natural process of ageing. Your doctor will discuss this with you at great lengths during your consultation.

Our doctors are highly trained and skilled in performing cheek filler treatments. Depending on the situation and ultimate goal, they may use a micro-cannula, needle, or decide to combine both techniques to achieve the best possible results.
