Morpheus8 is a scientifically proven fractional skin treatment that combines radiofrequency energy and micro pins (up to 5mm) to stimulate collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodelled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance.
The most commonly treated areas include the face, periorbital area (eyes), abdomen, thighs, legs and buttocks. The recommended number of sessions is a course of 3, but can vary from individual to individual.
Treatment Overview
Morpheus8 combines radiofrequency technology with fractional micro pins. These pins create minuscule injuries to the skin, stimulating a natural healing response.
Part of this response includes the production of new collagen and elastin fibres, which tighten and smooth the skin, resulting in a healthier tone and texture to the skin with reduced fine lines and wrinkles.
Morpheus8 has been clinically proven to deliver fractional radiofrequency energy deep in to the dermis, which further enhances skin tightening and scar reduction.
Results are long lasting and continue to improve over a period of months after treatment, as new collagen and elastin develops.

Initially topical local anaesthetic will be applied to the treatment area for approximately 45- 60 minutes. Overall, Morpheus8 treatments are very well-tolerated, and most patients describe the sensation similar to plucking your eyebrows. On average, the procedure time will last from 15-30 minutes.
The greatest advantage of Morpheus8 is the minimal downtime. Many of our patients resume their normal daily activities the next day. However, based on the level of treatment and your individual skin type you may experience swelling, redness and bruising, which should subside within a week. Makeup should be avoided for 72 hours. Your doctor will discuss and give a full description of our post treatment care tips to aid in your recovery.
We advise you to avoid strong direct sunlight exposure for four weeks before and after the treatment. It would be sensible to plan your treatments around any vacations. The use of SPF50 is recommended 3 days post treatment on a daily basis.
